Green Team was a place for me to express what I loved. Every week, I would simply head out to the back of the school to work on the small inclusive garden which is in the progress of being cleaned out with my friends, and enjoy contributing to something so much larger, and of such importance.
All the work we did during the audit from the beginning to the end felt right and didn’t even feel like work to me it instead made me feel important, like I was making a difference, and overall making our campus greener.
Environmental organizations and clubs are important to schools, communities, and ultimately the world. They teach and inspire people from all over to reach a common goal: making Earth a better place. Through our actions, we become unified.
